Terms of Use

Service

Low Quality Image provides free browser-based image processing tools, examples, and educational guides. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Features, supported formats, limits, and page availability may change as browser capabilities and the site evolve. A tool labeled Planned is not part of the current service and should not be treated as a promise of a future release.

Your files and rights

You retain your rights to the images and outputs you process. You are responsible for choosing files, settings, and download destinations. Only use files you own or are authorized to edit, and follow the copyright, privacy, publicity, contractual, and platform rules that apply to you.

The current core tools process supported files locally in your browser. That architecture does not transfer ownership of your files to Low Quality Image. It also does not remove your responsibility for the content or how you use the output.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to:

Access may be limited when reasonably necessary to protect the site, its infrastructure, or other people.

Destructive edits and output checks

Quality reduction, resizing, pixelation, and repeated compression can permanently remove information. Keep an original copy and inspect every downloaded result before publishing, archiving, printing, or using it in a consequential workflow.

Pixelation and blur are visual effects, not reliable redaction. If information must be hidden, remove it from the source and cover it with an irreversible solid mask using an appropriate editor. Do not rely on a degraded preview to protect secrets or personal data.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent permitted by applicable law. There is no promise that every browser, device, file, target size, or output will work for every purpose, or that the service will always be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.

Low Quality Image is not responsible for a missed backup, an unsuitable output, lost detail, browser behavior, device failure, third-party platform rejection, or use that violates these terms. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it is limited to the minimum required by applicable law.

Third-party names

Format and platform names may appear for compatibility context. Low Quality Image is independent unless a partnership is stated explicitly.

Links to third-party sites are provided for context or navigation. Their content, availability, and practices are outside Low Quality Image’s control.

Changes and separation

These terms may be updated when the service or applicable requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current published version. Continued use after a change means the updated terms apply from publication.

If one part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce one provision is not a waiver of it.

Questions about these terms can be sent to support@lowqualityimage.im. Do not email private images, credentials, or secrets. Privacy handling is described in the privacy policy.
